The Priory Golfing SocietyWednesday 22 September - Moor Park
On the 22nd September the Priory returned to an old favourite in Moor Park.
It was beautiful weather & a magnificent but testing course made sure nobody ran away with it. I was privileged to play with the winner & saw how well
he had to play to score his points.
An added bonus was that our Patron Dave Farndon made a surprise appearance to present the Edna Farndon Trophy.
The winner of the Edna Farndon Trophy was Ross Michie with 35 points with David Shiebert in second place with 34. .
The winning team were Dave Shiebert, John Humphries, Anthony Humphries & Rik Rankin. In second place were Paul Green, Gordon Brown, Guy Ruddock & Ron Fairhead, the latter also taking the Winning Guest prize.
Nearest the Pins were taken by Tim O'Donovan & Brian Mitchinson whilst Kim Harris was Nearest the Line.
